I was born in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx. My early years were marked by instability, pain, and fear. I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse — a reality that shaped much of my life but did not define my destiny.

Raised by my grandmother and placed in foster care due to my mother’s severe mental illness, I faced challenges that no child should ever experience. Yet those struggles built the foundation for who I am today.

Through faith, perseverance, and the love of a few caring adults, I found the strength to move forward. I learned that what happens to us does not determine what becomes of us.

💬 Finding My Voice

When I wrote my memoir, No Momma’s Boy, I made a decision — to tell the truth, even the painful parts. I shared the story of growing up with a mentally ill mother, enduring abuse, and surviving foster care.

The result was life-changing. Letters and messages poured in from survivors, parents, and social workers across the country. They told me my story gave them courage — that if I could overcome trauma, they could too.

Sharing our truth has power. It heals, it connects, and it helps others believe they are not alone.

🗽 From Trauma to Transformation

Today, I travel across the U.S. and Canada as a keynote speaker, speaking about resilience, leadership, and the courage to overcome. I’ve stood before audiences of foster parents, educators, and young people — using my voice to remind them that pain can be turned into purpose.

I tell every audience:

“You are not defined by what happened to you. You are defined by what you do next.”

Pain can either destroy you or develop you. I chose to let it develop me.

💙 A Voice for Healing and Hope

What began as a painful past has become my platform — one dedicated to helping others find strength in their stories. I’ve learned that leadership isn’t just about influence; it’s about empathy, honesty, and service.

I speak for every child who ever felt unseen.
For every survivor who’s still searching for peace.
And for every person who needs to know that healing is possible.

🎙️ Beyond the Stage — Speaking on Pop Culture and Current Events

In my capacity as a radio talk show host, I also take on the biggest issues in politics and pop culture, bringing honest conversation to the airwaves every day.

From Ariana Grande criticizing President Trump to Bad Bunny being selected to perform at the NFL Super Bowl Halftime Show, I don’t shy away from asking tough questions or sharing strong opinions.

Bad Bunny, who has also been an outspoken critic of President Trump, performs all of his songs in Spanish — a choice that has sparked national discussion about culture, communication, and connection in today’s America.

These moments remind me that whether I’m on stage or behind the microphone, my mission remains the same: to spark meaningful dialogue, challenge assumptions, and use my platform to inform and inspire.
