On the Fox News Channel’s “MediaBuzz,” with Howard Kurtz,  I shared my insights on the latest political shake-up.

The Department of Justice attempting to drop its corruption case against NYC Mayor Eric Adams has created a whole new challenge for him. The real issue? The looming presence of Andrew Cuomo, the former New York governor who is contemplating a return to politics—potentially as a mayoral candidate.

There’s no denying that Adams has taken a political hit. His ability to win a Democratic primary is now in serious question. With Cuomo’s potential comeback, the political future of New York hangs in the balance. New Yorkers are looking for leadership, and the upcoming election will redefine the city’s political landscape.

The intersection of law, governance, and public trust has never been more critical. Voters are increasingly questioning whether current leadership is capable of addressing the city’s challenges. Rising crime rates, economic struggles, and housing crises demand decisive action. If Cuomo officially enters the race, it will shift the entire political conversation in New York City.

This is a defining moment. Political observers, party leaders, and citizens alike are watching closely. Will Adams recover, or will Cuomo capitalize on this opening?

Just three days after appearing on the Fox News Channel, it was off to the White House interviewing Press Secretary Karoline Levitt, National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett, and Kaelan Dorr, Deputy Assistant to the President.
